Identity Theft
Neil Anderson’s book, Victory Over The Darkness, probably
shaped my life more than any non-Bible book I’ve ever read due simply to the
way it helped me to see myself through Christ’s eyes. He speaks of three things lost in the Garden
of Eden (Security, Acceptance, Significance) which are also the three things
returned at the Cross. While we often
strive to find our identify through accumulations, appearance, and
accomplishments, Christ’s Word concretely shares how He sees you and how you can
see yourself.

Verses By Neil Anderson
Once we know what the devil had stolen from us in one Garden
and Christ chose to bring victory is another one, we can declare, “We are more than conquerors through Him
that loved us.” That’s something
that no one can ever take away from you again.
Pastor Terry
Reflections:
1)
What area of identity tends to be most
important (accomplishments, appearance, or accumulations)?
2)
Which area of Christ offer speaks to you the
strongest (security, acceptance, or signicance)?
